- Bar meals and a la carte restaurant are available to residents and non-residents 7 days a week for lunch and dinners.
- Our Chef prepares fantastic fresh dishes using local game and fish products and ingredients from our home grown garden.
- Fresh Kyles of Bute Langoustines, Hand Dived local scallops & Winston Churchill Venison
- Home made breads, pastas and ice creams prepaired by our excellent chef Jamie Heathcote to name but a few of our specialities.
- Everyone enjoys a good meal in pleasant surroundings.
- Our restaurant and lounge have been fully refurbished in an elegant style with comfy leather chairs and period furniture.
- The views north and south of the Kyles from this room are spectacular.
- The cosy bar has a log fire and again superb loch views and a great ambience.

The Beautiful Local Area
The village of Colintraive is a peaceful and unspoiled location on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll and there is plenty to do nearby.
- The ferry to Bute is less then 100 metres from the hotel and the island offers great beaches, gardens and the magnificent Mount Stuart Country House and Chapel.
- The Kyles are famous for great sailing and the hotel provides 4 fully serviced moorings and yachtsman facilities.
- Situated on a quiet road with delightful walks by the shoreline, it is also great for cyclists and walkers alike.
- Golf courses are close-by on the island of Bute and also at Kames which is 20 minutes away.
- Fishing permits are obtainable for local fishing in the nearby lochs.
- Deer stalking can be arranged on local estates.
- Country cycle routes for the more energetic. [Owner is also a keen cyclist.]
